so, after spending like two hours on youtube and traveling amongst "related video" links, I somehow went from... a Star Wars: The Phantom Menace review aaaaaall the way to the Animaniacs singing about the US presidents. One thing led to another, I remembered that I kind of adore this show, and then I got here



this was so fcking adorable it was actually physically painful to watch it :| I'm not even exaggerating. I can't even watch the whole thing all the way through because every time I try I get so OVERWHELMED with the cute.

seriously, I'm SUCH A SUCKER FOR FAMILY-LOVE. idk. I think it's because I'm really close to my own family that every time I see families being really cute in media it kind of kills me :x

these three in general especially get me really bad. every little moment where they so much as interact or address each other (which I guess is most of the show lololol) is enough to melt me. :| okay but this? where they are full-on and blatantly being older brother/little sister-ly affectionate and cute? and with the characters in particular that are involved? it's TOO MUCH, I can't handle it DX I WANT YAKKO FOR AN OLDER BROTHER ;3;

the rest of this movie has a bunch of similarly cute scenes so I really can't watch it because I'd just have to keep pausing to compose myself, but sdlklskdjflkj this scene T_____T

dfkslkjflkjsd seriously, okay, I've already seen princess and the frog four times and I can honestly say I would watch it again and not feel bored :| Like, even the last time I watched it, it was STILL fun and exciting. Maybe because I'm watching it with different people? but it's suuuuch a goooood movie. unfortunately I think I've run out of people to watch it with D: but every single person I took to see it loved it. even the people who don't like ANYTHING.

I'm not even bothered by spending my money on it. I'm pretty, like... stringy with money. Like I won't buy things. Ever. I haven't bought anything this school year that wasn't for myself. I felt like I needed to keep saving up..for SOMETHING. This movie was that something, I'm guessing, cuz normally where I would cringe when forking over $11, I'm actually happy and willing to hand it over. :0

Seriously? It's making me just a little sad that there will eventually be a point where I can't watch it anymore. Either, I run out of people to go with... I have to go back to school... it will be out of theaters... ldskkj Disney, DVD release now plz :| And I'm a little sad that I can't look forward to it coming out anymore hahaha D: SO the only answer to this is... more 2D fairy-tale movies!!

sorry, the CGI movies are fine and dandy, too but can they please stop for awhile or something? :/ I would give them up forever if it meant more movies like this

so right, there's this thing going on facebook, right? with the whole "change your profile pic to a pokemon" thing. right so one of my friends has a dragonair as her pic and she had her status say something along the lines of "what's with all the pokemon???" and I was just like, "WELCOME TO THE CLUB :D" and then some guy comes along like, "uh, excuse me, that thing in your profile pic is not part of the original 151" (talking to me) and I was like, "it doesn't have to be! it's still a pokemon." and then he went on this long thing about how the new pokemon are killing the series and how all the games after blue and red are stupid. and...I can't tell if that's SERIOUSLY what he thought or was just being stupid but..b-but idk that seems kinda stupid :x

SO seeing "Princess and the Frog" again tonight proves that--in my case, anyway--watching something I really enjoy IS in fact better the second time around.

GOD I LOVE THIS MOVIE SO MUCH ;____;

Tonight I watched it with my sister! I cried again lololol it just GETS ME SO BAD, it's so beautiful and magical and wonderful and lsdkflsdjfl and my sister really liked it, too, which is GOOD because we've been bonding over disney since forever. It was so nice for her to be like, "IT'S JUST LIKE BEFORE!!" We both agree that disney should continue doing this shit. IT WORKS WONDERS.

but yeah. it was really fun watching it again :D and we had so much fun talking about how GREAT of a movie it was dsflkjsdlfj
we almost watched it AGAIN immediately afterward (it was THAT good, I think my sister even wanted to watch it again more than I did) but we were watching it at downtown disney and we wanted to go watch Fantasmic at disneyland instead..

unfortunately Fantasmic was not open so we didn't get to watch that OR the movie. LAME. :|

....is it sad that I want to watch it again? I just... sldkfjsldkjf I really love the movie ;3; I... is it too soon to say new favorite disney movie? D: It's def up there with Aladdin, I'm just sayin.

LOL this is related to that thing on facebook where everyone is changing their profile pics to pokemon. because I had to seriously sit down with myself for several days to think about which was my favorite LOL

but. really. I've always felt kind of bad about this.

I mean... I LIKE POKEMON. I just don't really....have a favorite one :x and I feel bad because I grew up enjoying this and then I can't find it in myself to feel a particular attachment to any?

I mean, aesthetically, there are a bunch I LIKE... like.. I like vulpix and growlithe and sandshrew and charmander and dragonite, ETC. (and all their respective evolutions; and we're just talking original 151 here because I only vaguely remember the next set and then anything after that I have no friggin clue) but that seems like kind of a stupid reason to like something.

and then I used to think Chikorita was my favorite for the longest time because pokemon silver was the first pokemon game I was old enough to consciously invest enough of myself into, and Chikorita was my starter. and I got attached to it. So I was like, "okay, chikorita!" except IDK maybe a part of me is like, "grass type :|" like why couldn't I have gotten attached to cyndaquil or totodile LOL don't people usually associate grass types as being kind of...IDK. WEAKSAUCE? is this just a stereotype? am I being too self-conscious about something trivial like this? lol also, I'm like, "chikorita is kinda cutesy........" which makes me go, "WHY COULDN'T I HAVE GONE WITH SOMETHING MORE BADASS." and then I get a lot of my pokemon fix from the cartoon, so then I'm like, "dang she was really annoying in the cartoon, wasn't she" :|

am I thinking about this too much? HAHAHA. I feel bad because I really did think I liked Chikorita the most at one point but then these stupid reasons are making me question that. Who exactly am I trying to impress anyway? NO ONE CARES WHO MY FAVORITE POKEMON IS or how cutesy or weaksauce it is lol

and then I met... Pachirisu! Well not so much "met" as... "found a picture". and it's freakin cute as all hell :| and it looks like it has spunk. but then there goes the aesthetic reasoning again! because I don't actually know anything about this thing because it comes from the realm of pokemon I am not familiar with. and then don't people usually rag on it because it's like... EXACTLY LIKE PIKACHU or something?! D:

When I think "what is my favorite pokemon" it makes me think, "if pokemon were real, which one would I want to hang out with all the time." So I went to go stare at a big poster of the original 150 to see if I could remember enough about each of them to deem one of them interesting enough to want to have in my life. and then... I think... I think I kind of really like Raichu.

RSKI raichu is YOUR favorite or something, right? it just seems like it's BADASS enough in ALL aspects (visually, personality-wise, power-wise), with that smidgeon of cute left over from Pikachu. But not necessarily TOO conventional of a choice because Pikachu overshadows him a bit. yeah? Does that make sense? lol it looks like something EXTREMELY rad to hang out with.

And then... I like Snorlax, too! Because I could sleep on one! lol And Growlithe is still cute because it's like a dog haha :| ....and I still like Chikorita and Pachirisu sdlkfsdlj but RAICHU seems REALLY cool to me at this present moment, after all this mulling hahaha

I JUST WISH I had a pokemon attachment from my childhood so this could actually mean something to me, SOB ;3; I don't want to FORCE myself to have a favorite one, I just wish I COULD have one.

...I don't even have a favorite digimon SDKS;KJ ;____; digimon was a big part of childhood, too! WHAT'S THE MATTER WITH ME.

I remember believing Terriermon was my favorite. Because of that one digimon movie I watched when I was little, and I was like, "terriermon is cool :x" but even THAT feels empty and meaningless.
